From first email to arrival
Typically six to eight weeks for a medical visa, or two to three if a tourist visa is sufficient for your program length. Follow the road — every stage is handled by the same named coordinator.

- Delhi (DEL) → Dehradun (DED): 50-minute flight, then a 45-minute drive
- Dehradun railway station is 5 km away — Vande Bharat and Shatabdi run direct from Delhi
- Delhi → Dehradun by road: 250 km on NH-7, approximately 6 hours
- We arrange pickup from the airport, the station or Delhi itself

What guests ask before flying

For treatment of 30 days or more, an Indian Medical Visa (MED) is the correct category and allows up to 60 days per visit with two attendants on MED-X visas. For shorter stays an e-Tourist visa is usually sufficient and far quicker. Once your deposit is received we issue an invitation letter and treatment plan on letterhead within two working days — that is what the application requires. We cannot lodge the application for you, but we have not had one refused with our documentation.
Drinking water on campus is triple-filtered and UV-treated; we also provide sealed bottles. All food is cooked fresh in our kitchen with no raw salads during monsoon. Mild digestive upset in the first 48 hours is common for anyone newly arrived in India, and usually settles with the ginger and buttermilk we will offer you.
Sometimes. Several European and UK policies cover it under complementary medicine, and a number of Indian insurers now cover AYUSH inpatient care. We issue itemised invoices, consultation notes and treatment records in English in whatever format your insurer specifies — send us their template before you travel and we will match it.
Yes. Companion accommodation with all meals is quoted alongside your program, and companions are welcome in the yoga classes and at meals. Many partners end up booking a short program halfway through, which we can usually accommodate.
All physicians, therapists and teachers work in English. We provide French, Japanese, German and Spanish interpreters at no additional charge for consultations and therapy briefings — please tell us at booking so we can schedule the right person. Written protocols are issued in English, and we will translate them on request.
Yes, each shipment includes an ingredient declaration, a certificate of analysis and the customs documentation your country requires. Shipping takes 8–18 days depending on destination and is charged at cost. A handful of countries restrict certain botanicals — we check before dispatch and substitute where necessary.
